Where does the price data come from?
Live streams (forex, metals and a subset of indices) come from Deriv over WebSocket. Instruments without a live feed — most equities, crypto, and futures such as GC=F, SI=F, CL=F, NG=F, ES=F, YM=F, NQ=F — are refreshed from Yahoo Finance on a 15-minute cadence, and crypto from CoinGecko. Quotes can be delayed or occasionally inaccurate; a coloured freshness dot in the app shows how old the last tick is.
How much does Tkr cost?
Tkr is free to download. Full access is a subscription — $4.99 per month or $44.99 per year (save 25%) — billed through your Apple ID. Cancel anytime from your App Store subscription settings.
My price alert didn’t arrive.
Check that notifications are allowed for Tkr (iOS Settings → Notifications → Tkr) and that Focus / Do Not Disturb is not silencing them. An alert fires when the instrument crosses your condition and threshold, so a price that is already past the level will not re-trigger until it crosses again. Widgets and Live Activities refresh on their own schedule and may lag slightly behind the app.
Where does the app get my account from?
Sign in with Apple. We receive the email address Apple returns (which may be a private relay address) and use it as your account identifier. No password is created or stored.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email tesla@fin-sh.xyz from the address linked to your account and we will delete the account and everything stored with it — followed instruments, watchlists, alert definitions, chart drawings and preferences, plus the associated push registration. This cannot be undone. Nightly backups age out within 30 days.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone, iOS 16.2 or later. Home Screen widgets and Live Activities need a device and iOS version that support them.
Is this investment advice?
No. Tkr shows market information only. Nothing in the app is investment, trading or financial advice, prices are sourced from third parties and may be inaccurate, and past performance never guarantees future results. Tkr does not place trades for you.
